Thanks to its design, the QS-V20's four-actuator system offers 4DOF – four degrees of freedom: Heave, Pitch, Roll, and Yaw.

The Yaw axis, with its center of rotation located at the front of the cockpit, enables, among other things, the simulation of the vehicle's oversteer slide. This provides the driver with crucial information about how the car behaves at the limit of grip and the dynamics of the rear axle.

In flight simulators, the YAW axis plays a key role in training during takeoff and landing, where it is necessary to compensate for torque (especially in piston engine aircraft), in crosswinds, and in emergencies such as asymmetric thrust in multi-engine aircraft.
