A 2DOF motion platform that provides SURGE and YAW movements for an even better sense of vehicle grip loss, braking, and acceleration. The motion system, based on the world's fastest linear actuator technology, provides the driver with exceptionally detailed vehicle feedback.

This motion platform is suitable for rally, drifting, GT, and F1 simulations. The platform is fully compatible with Qubic Systems 3DOF actuator sets.

PRECISE VEHICLE FEEDBACK AND OVERSTEER
The QS-CH2 provides the most precise sense of grip loss by moving the entire cockpit. The motion system is based on the world's fastest linear actuator technology, delivering an incredible level of instant feedback to the driver. This motion platform is suitable for rally, drifting, and all types of racing simulations. By providing an oversteer effect, the platform can be used effectively for training both real racing drivers and sim racers, allowing them to feel what is happening with the front and rear of the vehicle.

Motion Cockpit QS-CH2
USE CASES
The QS-CH2 platform has been designed to provide the most immersive sense of grip loss possible, as it teaches drivers correct reactions and builds the muscle memory required to keep the vehicle on the best possible racing line. Drivers must have full control over the slip of both the front and rear wheels. The goal is to master the balance between total grip loss and a smooth, controlled entry into corners.

EFFECTS OF GRIP LOSS AND ACCELERATION / DECELERATION

The QS-CH2 grip loss and surge platform is a single component of the entire rig. The QS-CH2 grip loss motion platform may not seem necessary, but drivers who try the grip loss feature and get used to it find it hard to go back.

Braking Oversteer occurs when you brake too hard, causing the wheels to lock up. The grip loss platform moves the rig to simulate rearward G-force on the driver's body.

Oversteer occurs when the rear of the virtual vehicle begins to slide because you are steering too sharply. The grip loss simulator moves the cockpit sideways relative to the direction of the oversteer. In oversteer, it is primarily the rear end of the vehicle that loses grip.

Acceleration Oversteer occurs when the driver applies the throttle too hard and too quickly, causing the vehicle to spin in place. The grip loss platform moves the cockpit backward to simulate forward G-force on the driver's body.

SMART CONSTRUCTION

The QS-CH2 makes it easy to expand the cockpit's functionality by adding SURGE and YAW movements. By using the technology in the QS-220, outstanding precision and smooth movements are achieved. MotionSystems engineers have also placed great importance on reducing noise levels, which otherwise often disrupt the perfect immersion with a motion platform.

2 DoF
The QS-CH2 adds two additional degrees of freedom to the motion. The high dynamic motion range of the SURGE axis, combined with the wide motion range of the YAW axis, enhances the experience and provides an extremely realistic user experience.

Please note: Requires separate purchase of QS-MC6 if none is already installed in the simulator. One set of QS-MC6 is needed per simulator.
