Power Supply ViP 24VDC/6.5A PSV-2465-M

PSV 2465-Medium is a power supply unit with battery charging and space for 2 pcs 12V/12Ah batteries.

It complies with the standard EN 50131–6:2008, Security Class 3, Environmental Class II. It shall be connected to the mains with a disconnecting device that is close and

PSV 2465-Medium has the unique function ViP (Voltage in Parallel) developed by ALARMTECH. Power supplies with ViP function can be
connected in parallel, both plus (+) and minus (-) on the same supply loop without extra synchronization.

Units connected on the loop will share the load. The ViP function can be used to build distributed and fail-safe power supply systems (redundancy).
By placing additional ViP power supplies on the loop, the ViP function can be used to compensate for voltage drops.
The voltage conversion is based on a high-frequency SMPS resonance mode regulator with high efficiency and low internal heat generation, which protects the batteries from overheating.

The processor-controlled battery charging operates with constant voltage and limited current, the most advanced and best method for obtaining the longest possible battery life.
The power supply unit has built-in self-diagnostics that indicate mains power failure, various types of battery failures, low output voltage, and fuse failures.
