Camera server for systems with up to 50 cameras, with the option to choose between Wisenet Wave and NX Witness VMS

Evido WR+ is a compact NAS model in the Evido server family, optimized for camera installations with up to 50 cameras. It offers easy deployment by choosing between the surveillance platforms Wisenet Wave or NX Witness VMS at startup. Both platforms are pre-installed for easy management. Licenses are ordered separately depending on the number of cameras to be used. An 8TB hard drive for video storage is included, with the option to increase storage space with an additional hard drive.

With the power of the Ubuntu/Linux operating system and components for 24/7 operation, the Evido WR+ is designed for continuous use. The server has low power consumption and generates minimal heat.

- Software and configuration tools to easily find and connect the most common cameras on the market (Axis, Bosch, Dahua, DW, Hanwha, Hikvision, VCA, Uni-View).
- Network scanning tool: Angry IP scanner.
- Remote access software: DWservice is pre-installed. Includes installation files for Teamviewer, Teamviewer host, Nomachine in the download folder.
- Pre-installed Zerotier SD-WAN software.
- Timeshift software to create a copy/snapshot of your existing system (takes approx. 10 minutes) and restore it to its state at the time of the snapshot (takes approx. 5 minutes). Recorded material is not lost.
- For optimal performance, it is recommended that the server is only used as a recording server.
- Possibility to connect up to 50 cameras for recording per server (15 frames per second, 4Mp with motion detection).
- Option to use as a client, but this is not recommended simultaneously while the unit is in server mode and recording.
- Up to 16 cameras can be displayed simultaneously for live viewing (15 frames per second, 4Mp).
- NOTE! Keep in mind that AI cameras that create metadata require more processing power on the server than cameras with only motion detection.
- Pre-installed OpenVINO Object Detection plugin provides basic video analytics functions for common IP cameras, including detection of line crossing/intrusion zones by people. This loads the server's CPU and RAM when activated.
