Entry Touch panel, flush mount
Om – Entry is a door entry system that works standalone or alongside Paxton’s Net2 – access control or Paxton10, access control and video management, combining door entry with key features from our access control software. Entry’s touch screen is a premium external panel for use with Paxton’s Entry door entry system. Includes a quality 7-inch colour touch screen with customisable options, the touch screen has a hearing loop to use with hearing aid T-loop aerials and advanced sound reduction for high traffic areas making it suitable for even more locations than ever before.
When the premium screen is used with the Entry touch screen, it supports two-way video calls and video voice messages.
All of Entry’s panel variants are IPX5 rated making them suitable for external use in all weather conditions.
Installation – Entry components are easily interconnected using Cat5 or terminated patch leads RJ45. Entry can also utilise existing network infrastructure for simple installation. POE technology runs power and data along the same cable to avoid the need for separate power supplies.
The flush mount version of this panel allows for the unit to be installed into the surface of the wall, this sort of installation leaves the unit unexposed. For entrances with multiple panels, more than one panel can be associated with an ACU.
A second IP camera can also be installed and integrated with the Entry system to provide extra security in areas with limited visibility. This gives you the ability to switch between the two cameras on the Entry screen.
Usage – A visitor initiates a video call via the call button on the external panel. Visitor access can be granted via the Entry screen. The internal screen can be used either via the handset for private calls or on speakerphone.
When connected to Net2, entry to the building can be gained using a PIN code and/or proximity token. When connected to Paxton10, entry to the building can be gained using a Bluetooth® smart credentials, PIN code and/or proximity token.
