Analyser unit OP100
The system consists of a control unit that connects to an optical fiber. The control unit sends out a coded pulsed light through the fiber. The signal is received in the control unit and compared with what was sent out. Monitored units are connected to the fiber via specially designed mounts. The control unit connects to a 24-hour loop in the central unit, and any attempt to remove a unit or tamper with the optical fiber will generate an alarm.
The fiber allows the monitored object to be used normally. The system is completely insensitive to electronic interference. The optical fiber is soft and approximately 2 mm in diameter, making it easy to bend. The maximum length of the fiber can be 40 m, allowing many units to be monitored by one control unit. The control unit has a relay output (NC) that can be programmed to be latching or self-resetting. The relay can be remotely reset via an input when in latching mode. LED indication follows the alarm relay or is only displayed in day mode.
