The PSV 2435-12 is a power supply unit with space for battery backup, built on the latest technology and complying with the standards in EN 50131-6:2008, "security grade 3". The PSV 2435-12 features the unique ViP (Voltage in Parallel) function.
Power supply units with ViP function can be connected in parallel, both plus (+) and minus (-) on the same supply loop without extra synchronization. Units connected on the loop will share the load.

The ViP function can be used to build distributed and redundant power supply systems.
By placing additional ViP units on the loop, the ViP function can be used to compensate for voltage drop.
Voltage conversion is based on a high-frequency SMPS resonant mode regulator with high efficiency.
Low internal losses protect the batteries from overheating.
Processor-controlled battery charging that operates with constant voltage and limited current, the most advanced and best method for obtaining the longest possible battery life.
The power supply unit has built-in self-diagnostics that indicate mains power failure, various types of battery faults including "End of life" warning, output voltage fault, low voltage, and fuse fault.

* Alarm class 3 (EN 50131-6:2008 Security Grade 3,)
* Type A – mains connection with rechargeable batteries
* Output voltage 27.6 V
* Max total current output 3.5A
* Max current output to system 3.0A

* Short-circuit protection and overload protection
* Mains power failure detection (EPS fault)
* Output voltage low detection (OUT fault)
* Fuse fault detection (OUT fault)
* Detection of various battery faults (APS fault) e.g., batteries not connected, low voltage, high internal resistance.
* Deep discharge protection for batteries that disconnect the battery at low battery voltage.
* Local or remote start of battery test.
* Tamper protection against opening or removal of the cabinet.
* For Grade 3, 0.25A/30 hours and for Grade 2, 0.74A/12 hours to the system with 12Ah batteries.
