The Optex QXI-DT is a detector designed to deliver reliable detection in outdoor environments.

Super Multidimensional Analysis (SMDA) Logic:
All QXI models are equipped with SMDA, a digitally enhanced signal analysis logic.
SMDA analyzes detection patterns and adapts to changes in the environment, such as weather conditions and vegetation movement.
This helps reduce interference and false alarms.

QUAD Technology with AND Logic:
The QXI sensors use two separate detection layers (QUAD pyroelements) operating with AND logic.
In high-mounted applications, this increases tolerance for small animals, ensuring reliable outdoor detection.

Dual Conductive Shielding:
A prominent feature of the QXI series is its dual conductive shielding, which effectively blocks visible light and RFI interference.

Anti-mask function:
The QXI-DT model is equipped with an anti-mask function that uses the microwave module to detect attempts to block or mask the sensor.

Adjustable mounting height and detection pattern:
When mounted between 2.2 and 2.7 meters, a multi-level volumetric detection pattern is created that ignores small animals.
For environments with larger animals, the sensor can be mounted lower, between 0.8 and 1.2 meters, to create a "pet alley" zone.

Easy installation and maintenance:
The screwless housing makes it easy to open and close the detector using a standard flat-head screwdriver.
Battery-powered models (QXI-R and QXI-RDT) have an easily accessible battery compartment on the front, facilitating battery replacement.

Combination detectors for demanding environments:
For more challenging environments, the QXI-DT offers a combination of PIR and microwave technologies to confirm alarms.
These models are equipped with the OPTEX Tough microwave module, specifically developed to resist corrosion from condensation and moisture.
