PIR Detector WXS-DAM

The OPTEX WXS-DAM-X5 is a wired 180° outdoor detector with dual detection technologies, combining four PIR sensors with two microwave sensors for reliable area and proximity protection.
Designed for residential and commercial properties, the detector offers a range of up to 12 meters when mounted low or 9 meters when mounted high.

The detector utilizes triple-layer detection, pet tolerance, and OPTEX SMDA technology to reduce the risk of false alarms from various environmental disturbances.
Furthermore, the combination of PIR and microwave provides high stability in demanding environments, such as in strong sunlight.

Intelligent self-learning IR anti-masking detects attempts to cover the detector's lens.

The left and right detection areas can be adjusted individually, including range and sensitivity, and have separate alarm outputs.
When mounted low, the range can be set between 2.5 and 12 meters.
The detector can be mounted at a height of 0.8–1.2 meters or at a height of 2 meters.

The WXS-DAM-X5 is powered by 9.5–18 VDC and has a maximum current consumption of 24 mA at 12 VDC.
The IP55-rated housing is designed for outdoor use and operates in temperatures from -20 °C to +45 °C.
