Net2 Reader P75

Reader used with Switch2 and Net2 systems. P-series readers are supplied with black front panels only. Replacement panels are available in black and white/grey and are free of charge to Paxton’s registered installers via the Paxton Portal. P-series readers are available in four sizes.

The reader is cabled according to the instructions on the control unit label. Ensure that you avoid mounting on metallic surfaces or near other proximity readers as this will affect the read range. The cable exits centrally from the back of the reader which makes drilling and mounting highly accurate.

A token is read by holding it close to the reader. Once a token has been read the control unit looks up the user’s access rights. Access is then granted or denied. If access is granted the green LED flashes. If access is denied the red LED flashes.
