Ksenia velum is a dual-technology motion detector with anti-masking detection that can be installed both outdoors and indoors. Velum detectors are motion detectors made with advanced professional components and materials among the best in the world. From all points of view, these sensors guarantee the highest degree of reliability in detecting movement, without false alarms. The velum motion detector contains two technologies for motion detection: microwave Doppler effect and infrared. Together, these two signals are interpreted by proprietary algorithms that reject false alarms and detect unwanted intrusions.

The microwave sensor part of the velum contains a modern and compact transceiver Doppler microstrip. The Doppler signal is processed digitally to achieve the highest degree of reliability in intrusion detection and to avoid problems. Signals from repetitive movement are filtered so that frequencies originating from fluorescent lights are eliminated digitally. The IR part works with a lens combined with a high-quality infrared detector. Finally, the signal is evaluated by a processor to eliminate false alarms while maintaining an excellent degree of intrusion detection. Lens sabotage detection is performed using active infrared LEDs, which can detect any obstacles placed near the lens.
