IQ Pro MX922 addressable glassbreak
The MX922 is a wired, addressable glassbreak detector for IQ Pro panels.
To use the MX922 and other MX devices, the IQ Pro must have an installed HSM3105 MX Addressable Loop Module.
The MX922 offers 360° coverage with a range of up to 7.6 m and advanced detection that minimizes false alarms.
It can protect multiple types of glass, including float, tempered, laminated, wired, coated, and insulating glass.
The detector features bicolor LED and tamper monitoring to prevent unauthorized access.
It can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.
For wall mounting, it should be placed 1.8 m from the floor and 0.3 m from the ceiling, preferably opposite the protected glass.
For ceiling mounting, it should be 2–4 m from the glass.
Avoid obstructions or mounting the detector on the same wall as the glass, as this impairs detection.
Angled or corner mounting can also reduce the range.
Testing with a glassbreak tester, such as the Honeywell FG701, is recommended.
The MX922 connects with two MX looping inputs from the HSM3105 and two MX loop outputs for cascading devices.
After installation, the device is automatically registered in the IQ Pro panel and configured via the IQ Installer app.
Possible settings include Alarm LED (on/off), Installer Test, and Self Test.
