IQ Pro HSM3105 Address.Expand.V13
The HSM3105 is an MX-addressable expansion module that enables IQ Pro panels to use MX-addressable devices.
It connects to the IQ Pro's Corbus and supports up to 124 MX loop devices, allowing the connection of sensors,
detectors, and other loop components.
The module supports flexible wiring options: 4-wire loop for the maximum number of devices or a 2-wire loop terminated at the last device.
When using MX920 line isolators, the 4-wire loop ensures that the devices continue to function even in the event of a short circuit.
Configuration is done via the IQ Installer app.
Mounting depends on enclosure type and power mode.
In a metal enclosure, the HSM3105 can only be mounted in low-power mode, where the loop receives up to 67 mA @ 40 V from Corbus.
For plastic enclosures or high-power mode, an external enclosure with HSM2204 or HSM2300 as a power source is required.
High-power mode can handle up to 400 mA @ 40 V, even though the power supplies deliver 228–260 mA @ 40 V.
The HSM3105 must be installed within 1 meter of the IQ Pro control panel using 22 AWG cable.
The HSM3105 is compact and crucial for MX integration, providing reliable operation, flexible expansion, and
easy management of MX devices in professional IQ Pro installations.
Key Features: MX-addressable expansion, up to 124 devices, 4-wire loop or 2-wire loop, low/high-power mode,
installation via IQ Installer app.
