Fuse Card 24V 6x2
Fuse card for circuit protection and fault detection with double fuses for a maximum current of 13A and 4A respectively for each fuse pair.
The fuse card is designed for 24V and has 6 double fuses, one for the output of plus and one for the output of minus. Each fuse has a circuit that detects if it is intact or broken. A broken fuse is indicated by a red light-emitting diode (LED). The card has an output relay NC for signaling a sum of fuse failures. There is also a circuit that indicates with a green light-emitting diode (LED) that the input voltage to the card is between 20-27.6 V.
To ensure that earth currents do not interfere with the system, the fuse card has an earth fault circuit that detects if the plus or minus has accidentally come into contact with the protective earth (PE). This is particularly important in large installations. An earth fault leads leakage currents into the earth that can disturb detectors and the control unit's sections and cause false alarms. The earth fault circuit detects if there is a conductivity of a certain size between minus or plus and earth.
Sensitivity for each pole is set with a potentiometer on the card. Earth faults are indicated by a red light-emitting diode (LED) for each pole, and an output relay NC signals a sum of earth faults. To easily test if a fuse is intact or broken, there is an open fuse holder in the middle of the card where a fuse can be placed and tested. If the fuse is intact, this is indicated by a green light-emitting diode (LED). For DIN mounting, use MFC-DIN (Art. No. 5240149).
