Camera Server for Small Systems with Choice of Wisenet Wave or NX Witness VMS

Evido WR is a compact entry-level model in the Evido server family, tailored for smaller camera installations. It offers easy deployment by choosing between the Wisenet Wave and NX Witness VMS surveillance platforms at startup, both of which are pre-installed. Licenses are ordered separately depending on the number of cameras to be used. A 4TB hard drive for video storage is included.

With the power of the Ubuntu/Linux operating system and components designed for 24/7 operation, the Evido WR is adapted for continuous use. The server has low power consumption and generates minimal heat with a quiet fan.

- Includes a 4TB hard drive, sufficient for most storage needs.
- 2 x Gigabit Ethernet network ports.
- Software and configuration tools to easily identify and connect the most common cameras on the market (Axis, Bosch, Dahua, DW, Hanwha, Hikvision, VCA, Uni-View).
- Network scanning tool: Angry IP scanner.
- Remote connection software: DWservice and Anydesk installed. Includes installation files for Teamviewer, Teamviewer host, Nomachine in the download folder.
- Timeshift software to create a copy/snapshot of your existing system (takes approx. 10 minutes) and restore it with a few button presses to the state it was in at the time of the snapshot (takes approx. 5 minutes). Recorded material is not lost.
- For optimal performance, it is recommended that the server is only used for recording.
- Possibility to connect up to 16 cameras for recording per server (15 frames per second, 4Mp with motion detection).
- Possibility to use as a client, but this is not recommended simultaneously while the unit is in server mode and recording.
- Up to 8 cameras can be displayed simultaneously for live viewing (15 frames per second, 4Mp).
- Note that AI cameras that write metadata require more processing power on the server compared to cameras with only motion detection.
- Pre-installed OpenVINO Object Detection plugin provides basic video analytics features for standard IP cameras, including detection of virtual line crossing/intrusion zones by humans. Free in Nx Witness/Wave. Activating this feature can load the server's CPU and RAM.
