The ARA13-W2(868) is a wireless outdoor/indoor siren from Dahua that provides a clear audible and visual alarm signal in case of an event in the alarm system. The siren can generate several different alarm sounds – including for fire, medical, intrusion, and panic – making it easy to distinguish between different types of events directly on-site.
With a sound level of up to 110 dB(A) at 1 meter, the siren offers a powerful deterrent effect. Thanks to two-way communication and frequency hopping, the siren communicates stably with the hub at a distance of up to 1,600 meters in open areas. The siren is built for harsh environments with an IP65 protection class and an operating temperature down to –25 °C, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor mounting.
The unit can be powered either by 4 x CR123A batteries (up to 3.4 years of battery life with an alarm every two weeks) or via 9–15 VDC for a fixed power supply. Cloud-based remote updates, tamper protection, and low battery warnings ensure easy operation and maintenance. With certification according to EN 50131 Grade 2 and environmental class IV, the ARA13-W2(868) fits well into professional alarm installations.
