DHI PIR Detector ARD1233

The ARD1233-W2(868) is a wireless PIR motion detector from Dahua that complements alarm systems built around Dahua's wireless hubs. The detector uses a dual-element low-noise PIR sensor and detects motion within a range of 12 meters (90° detection angle) at a mounting height of 2.2 meters.

The detector is equipped with pet immunity for animals up to 18 kg, automatic temperature compensation, and three levels of adjustable sensitivity, making it flexible for different environments and reducing the risk of false alarms. With resistance to white light up to 2000 lux, the detector functions reliably even in well-lit rooms.

Thanks to two-way communication and frequency hopping, the detector communicates stably and interference-free with the hub, with a range of up to 1,600 meters in open areas. The unit is powered by a CR123A battery with up to 4 years of battery life and automatically alerts when the battery is low. Built-in temperature monitoring, signal strength indication, and tamper protection provide extra security and an overview of the system status directly in the app. The detector also supports cloud-based remote updates with automatic reset if an update fails, as well as a test mode for easy operational control during installation.

With certification according to EN 50131 Grade 2, the ARD1233-W2(868) is suitable for both private homes and professional installations.
